STATUS: September 2023
The examination of retrofitting the Deye inverter with an external relay has been completed. Shipping of the external relays SUN-MI-RELAY-01 is underway. If you still need an external relay for your inverter, please contact our customer support by email or telephone.

STATUS: July 20th 2023
According to the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), inverters of the type SUN600G3 from the manufacturer Deye should be temporarily taken off the grid until the required certificates are available. Deye informs its customers about this in a new statement and expressly asks its customers to do so.
The already announced solution of retrofitting with an external relay is currently being checked for admissibility and conformity by TÜV and Intertek as approved certification bodies. As soon as further information is available, the manufacturer will inform its customers immediately.
The manufacturer reaffirms that there are no known incidents in which the product has caused personal injury or property damage.

With regard to all customers in Germany and in accordance with the VDE 4105 standard, the manufacturer Deye confirms its commitment to truth and product safety. Deye microinverters, sold exclusively in Germany with 2 MPPTs of 600W, 700W and 800W power, are equipped with the SUN-MI-RELAY-01 device.
It is recommended to contact technical support by email at support@deye.solar and request the SUN-MI-RELAY-01, which will be sent free of charge and without any red tape.

As you have seen in the media and on the Internet over the past few days, the lack of a specific relay in micro inverters from the manufacturer Deye has been made public and criticized.
It is important for us and the manufacturer Deye to assure us that the current situation is a regulatory issue and that no danger from the operation of the inverters is known or could be proven.
This means that we and the manufacturer Deye are currently not aware of any incidents in which the affected products have caused damage to people or material.
The manufacturer Deye is in close contact with the Federal Network Agency in order to meet all regulatory requirements and eliminate any misconduct.
This process is in full swing and we assume that the situation will become clearer immediately and can therefore also be completely resolved.
We are also in constant dialogue with all parties involved to ensure that we can provide you with the latest information immediately.
As soon as there is a new statement from the manufacturer Deye and/or a first concrete statement from the responsible authority (Federal Network Agency), we will update this website and make the information available to you.
